Anti-inflammatory effects of LAV-BPIFB4 exerted on the in vitro intestinal biopsies from IBD patients. Tissue samples from IBD patients were collected. LPS-primed fragments were placed in culture and challenged in absence (NT) or presence of recombinant LAV-BPIFB4 protein (L) (18ng/ml). After 3 h the conditioned medium was collected to assay multiple analytes by beads-based multiplex ELISA. Data were analyzed using Student’s t-test (n = 6)
