Expression of SIRT1 in nonstimulated and stimulated with IL-2, LPS and PMA/ionomycin CD3+ and CD3 + CD56+ cells of the young, old and oldest age groups. Data are presented as the mean ± SEM and show the expression of sirtuin 1 in the studied cell populations demonstrated as the percentage of cells with the expression of SIRT1 protein (%) and mean fluorescence intensity (MFI). Solid horizontal lines denote statistically significant differences found between similarly treated cells of different age groups, i.e. young vs. old, young vs. oldest and old vs. oldest.
